KG GROUP OF COMPANIES new batches in “Multi Skill Technician”


To keep pace with the technological demands of industry and expanding universe of knowledge, to produce skilled manpower at the international level as well as provide employment generation for students, at Sharadha Skill Academy (SSA) a renowned national-level skill-building program initiative launched by KG Group of companies starts a part-time course in Multi-Skill Technician.

 

The workshop commenced on the 15th July 2022, for a total duration of 2 months which includes entire of classroom teaching and on job training, covering a variety of courses, to fit each one’s need meant for above 18 age groups. The course is for individuals to be able to become self-reliant and be able to stand on their feet.

The core curriculum offered by the program for

·       Electrician

·       Plumbing

·       AC

includes:

·       Maintain Safety at Workplace

·       Clean and Maintain Utility at the facility

·       Maintaining Plumbing

·       Maintain Electrical System

·       Maintain HVAC System

·       Monitor and Control Building Management System

With the help of dedicated faculties, the students will get exposed to practical skills in Electronics, Air-condition system, Computer, Electrical, Welding and Plumbing. They will get hands-on experience & develop the ability to work independently and can be placed for employment immediately after completion of the training program.

Speaking about the courses, Arun, Head CSR, Sharadha Skill Academy says “Vocational education and life skills are important in today’s world, and you can’t survive without them. Rather than complaining about the busted button or fan not working and waiting for the electrician or technician to come and fix the issues, learning the skills to solve the technical issues is the need of an hour especially the multiskilling is very essential, this is the 10th batch when we are doing such courses, with each passing batch we get more and more people interested in enrolling such courses and learn the life skills. It’s been a great experience with the students.” He further adds, “The institute has developed confidence among students and helped them to become successful in life. The success stories of many of such achievers are helping our existing students as role models.”
